AI Gives Back: Assisting St. Jude's Ranch For Children

Transforming the lives of abused and at-risk children, young adults and families by empowering them to create new changes, new choices and new hope in a caring community, this is the mission of the St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.

An ongoing fundraiser for the Ranch is accepting donations of all-occasion greeting cards which are recycled to make new cards.  Operated by Kids’ Corp., a program designed to teach entrepreneurship skills, the children at the Ranch participate in making the new “green” cards by removing the front and attaching a new back.  The result is a beautiful new card made by children and volunteers.  The cards are then sold and the proceeds are used to support the programs at the ranch.

The program is beneficial to everyone--customers receive fun, “green” holiday or other occasion cards they can feel good sending to their friends and loved ones, and the children at St. Jude’s Ranch receive payment for their work and learn basic job skills and the importance of recycling.

Employees at Adjusters International gathered a large box of Christmas cards to mail out to the Ranch.  The Ranch also looks for cards in the following categories:

  • General or Religious Christmas
  • Easter
  • Birthday
  • Thank You
  • Sympathy
  • Thanksgiving
  • All Occasion
