AI’s Bruce Kabat Founding Member of the Rocky Mountain Association of Public Insurance Adjusters
Over the past few years, Colorado and its surrounding states have seen an increase in natural disasters. As a result, there has been an influx of public adjusters practicing in these areas. Due to these factors, Bruce Kabat, Chief Operating Officer of Adjusters International of Colorado, along with several other public adjusters, saw a need for the creation of a regional association of public insurance adjusters.
Kabat, along with the other founding members, worked tirelessly to form the Rocky Mountain Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (RMAPIA). Founded from a position of consumer advocacy, RMAPIA’s mission is to provide advocacy for the policyholder, and to educate the general public in all of its member states on their rights in the insurance claims process. RMAPIA members are held to a strict code of professional conduct and ethics. When a policyholder chooses to hire a licensed public adjuster that belongs to RMAPIA, they can be assured that they have been thoroughly vetted by the association.
